Maes-y-Môr Hostel offers superior self catering accommodation at a budget/cheap price. Ideally suited near Aberystywth town centre, 80 metres from the beach and 400 metres from the bus and train stations. We are highly recommended in the Lonely Planet guide book.
Accommodation at the hostel is room only. We have a large kitchen diner with fridge / freezer, hob oven and toaster so you can cook your own food.
Bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard with colour TV and there are tea and coffee facilities in all rooms. Free WiFi internet is available.
We have 9 bedrooms comprising 2 doubles, 6 twins and 1 family room with shower / WC and basin. Launderette facilities are available.
The hallway and landings are themed with pictures of Welsh history.
There is a lock up shed for bicycles and limited car parking is available.

Aberystwyth is an ideal base for both North and South Wales. Visit Devil's Bridge with its dramatic waterfalls or the Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway.
The National Library of Wales is also in Aberystwyth, Nant-y-Arian Forest Visitor Centre provides over 35km of mountain bike trails offering a world class experience. Visit the castle and harbour, the famous cliff railway and the Aberystwyth golf course.
Aberystwyth is a University town so there is plenty of nightlife.
